Chris Cheetham is a retired USAF Lt Colonel.  He is a native of Pembroke Massachusetts and currently resides in New Hampshire.  This blog is his venue to discuss leadership, sports, current events, music, and life in general.  Occasionally you will be treated to fiction and poetry.

Chris Cheetham served in the military from June 11, 1984 until November, 1, 2015.  His military career started as an enlisted man in the Army National Guard where he served as a Military Policeman.  During his 10 years in the Army National Guard he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6) and served as a squad leader in Iraq during Operation DESERT STORM.  In 1989, he was selected as the Massachusetts Army National Guard Soldier of the Year.

In 1994, He transitioned to the United States Air Force after completing Officer Training School.  He served on active duty with the Air Force after commissioning as a 2d Lt in 1994.  As an intelligence officer he has held multiple key leadership jobs, including Wing Intelligence Officer, Squadron Director of Operations, Wing Director of Operations, Intelligence Squadron Command, and Deputy Group Command.  He also served two tours in Air Education and Training Command serving as an Assistant Professor and Professor at the Universities of Virginia and Delaware respectively.

Chris Cheetham holds a bachelor’s degree in political Science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Troy University.

He is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College, Ft Leavenworth Kansas.
